Its laughable that Puff thought Meelah would fit in Total. She is far too strong of a singer and would have constantly ended up upstaging Pam & Keisha's limited vocals...which is a reason why I believe Kima ALWAYS was stuck singing a short bridge in their songs. Meelah going from singing 99% of 702 leads to a 30 second bridge in Total? 😂😂😂 Perhaps for existing Total songs. But Sis was too well known for her vocal ability for any REAL producer/writer to work with her in a studio on new material to reduce her to just that and backing harmonies. While a flat nasally Pam carried majority of the lead. It was Meelah replacing original member and lead vocalist Misha in 702 that caused drama there

Kima was DEFINITELY the strongest vocally of the 3 (there's a note she sustains on "Can't You See" that is removed from all versions of the song except on the original version of the New Jersey Drive soundtrack) and is the ONLY reason Totals harmonies work. I've never understood why Puff favored Pam's nasally vocals when clearly Kima had more diversity and range

Great performance, however I understand why people sing to tracks. Karyn looks slightly out of breath, which interferes with her vocals. It's obvious that she can sing, however putting so much energy into dancing compromises the overall performance.

In Asia, Karyn is also big in the 80's specifically in the Philippines. MABUHAY!

I’m not a troll, for you sensitive folks that take the internet far too seriously. But I just can’t help but feel this interview could’ve been a whole lot better if it didn’t seem like dude was crushing hard. The first 2 minutes he could barely speak like being in high school and having your crush approach you off guard. But I definitely understand if that’s what this was, amazing how she hasn’t aged a bit.

"Wish That I May" by Jason Weaver would have been done by Tony Rich featuring Kenny Greene on background vocals. LoL Tony Rich would have co-produced Donell Jones' "My Heart" album. LoL Wow!!!! Shades would have lost "Everytime I Think of You" to Tony Rich....Tony Rich would have become the new Horace Brown on that record. Dang!
